Interdisciplinary Experiences

Our students benefit from both the broad range of Dietrich School curricula and courses and an array of resources and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration across and beyond the University of Pittsburgh.

Graduate Programming Incubator (GRAD-PI)

To support the incubation of innovative interdisciplinary graduate programming, and to increase the range of graduate students whose training reflects the Dietrich School's commitment to interdisciplinarity, professional development, and knowledge in the service of society, the Graduate Programming Incubator is designed to encourage collaboration among students and faculty with shared intellectual interests but different academic affiliations. We encourage faculty and students to explore ideas for programming and programs that bridge disciplines and departments, and indeed schools and institutions.
