Dietrich School Awarded $1.5 Million Grant to Transform Doctoral Education in the Humanities

The Dietrich School has been awarded a $1,500,000 grant from the A.W. Mellon Foundation in support of a proposal titled Humanities Engage: Reimagining Humanities Doctoral Education in the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences

Building on the NEH Next Gen Humanities Ph.D. Planning Grant, Humanities Careers, awarded to the Dietrich School last year, Humanities Engage will support significant discipline-based and cross-disciplinary curricular change, an ambitious program of funded immersive fellowships, and a new position of Director of Graduate Advising and Engagement as well as enhanced alumni engagement.
